Bonfonte Gardens, Now Called Gilroy Gardens

Bonfonte Gardens, now called Gilroy Gardens in Gilroy, California (yes, the garlic capital of the world) has everything (except garlic) in odd plant and tree life. This is a destination if you: 1) have small children 2) are interested in unusual trees and plants and 3) wondered how to tie a tree into a knot.

Lots to see and do but your average teen ager would probably rather text a retirement home than see all that this park has to offer.  There is a small amusement park.   Info at   http://www.gilroygardens.org/
