St Louis Arch -- Gateway To The West

If you have seen only the outside of the St. Louis Arch then you and truly missing out on the complete St. Louis Arch Experience.   A tour of the underground museum is a must to really enjoy the St. Louis Arch.  Here you will experience the history of the Native American culture that once thrived in the Midwest.  There are several gift shops under the St. Louis Arch where you can pick out your favorite treasure to take home with you.  After your tour of the museum take the tram to the top of the Arch.  Beware--the tram ride is like taking a ride in a large clothes dryer so if your are afraid of closed in spaces or heights you may want to pass on this one.
