Pittsburgh Pennsylvania --  The City Of Bridges

Pittsburgh Pennsylvania is a town of many names. Known as "The City of Bridges", Steel City, The Smokey City, City of Champions, and several others.  The city's motto is "Benigo Numine" translated to mean "By the favor of heaven."  The triangular shape of downtown is caused by the merging of the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers, where the Ohio River begins.  When you take in a hillside view you can see how Pittsburgh got it's nicknames with its' 440 plus bridges and its' 150 plus high rise buildings
