village: Carved Teak, sanded Teak, stained teak…. teak, teak,
teak. That’s the wood carving village. Any conceivable thing
carved out of wood and ready to take home. There are freight
forwarders who can handle getting that 2000 pound 7 foot
elephant or that special piece of furniture to your apartment on
the Upper West Side. Ban Tawai is a short drive from Chiang Mai
and it would be best to hire a ride but you can take the bus.
